A graduate of the UT Austin (BA, English), and CU Denver (MS, Accounting), I work as a Certified Public Accountant, providing financial consulting services to individuals and small business owners, primarily in Denver, Colorado.
I received early training in financial statement auditing with a global public accounting firm, then went on to a leadership role at a local municipal agency, before opening my own practice in Spring 2013.
Currently I support small businesses with their accounting, payroll, and tax compliance needs, and prepare income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
Volunteerism
I have loved living with my family in Central Park, and am pleased to give back through my volunteer work.
Westerly Creek Metropolitan District (WCMD)
In May, 2023, I was elected to a four-year term as Director of the Westerly Creek Metro District board, and in that position I have learned a tremendous amount about Central Park – about its history, its amenities and infrastructure, and us, the people who make up the neighborhood.
My current term is up in May, 2027 and I will be seeking another four years on the board. My work as Director has focused on bringing clarity and accountability to financial reporting, and working collaboratively with the PCMD Board to forge close ties and cooperation. My effort helped resolve a long-simmering conflict and communication gap between the boards, and resulted in a supplement to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA).
Park Creek Metropolitan District (PCMD)
In January, 2026, I was appointed to the Park Creek Metro District board, and elected Board Treasurer. In a similar position to WCMD, I have worked to improve upon the financial reporting of the District. PCMD’s continued work in the construction phase has provided me the opportunity to shape policy and spending decisions.
Master Community Association (MCA)
In the summer of 2025, the District 6 delegate position became vacant, so I volunteered to step in. I was elected to serve a one year term in 2026. As a delegate I have volunteered to help MCA management transition and upgrade its accounting software, and volunteered on the nominating and election committee. I am also a regular and active participant at the monthly MCA meetings.
